Choc a bloc weekend of Gaelic Games action

The  May bank Holiday weekend is set to provide plenty of club action in both codes, with a full set of fixtures in the Clare Cup and the Cusack Cup.

Action resumes in football’s Cusack Cup this Saturday  with table toppers Ennistymon facing third placed Lissycasey

Defending champions Kilmurry Ibrickane ,in second place only on points difference, take on bottom side Liscannor who will be desperate to get a result to stave off relegation fears.

St Josephs Miltown seek their first win of the league Eire Og and St Joseph’s Doorabarefield take on Doonbeg.
 
The five games of the weekend in hurling’s Clare Cup take place this coming Bank Holiday Monday.

Fresh from their win over Newmarket, Sixmilebridge take on Clarecastle who are on 3 points after 4 games.

Table toppers Eire Og look to maintain their run as they play Cratloe who dismantled Clonlara in the previous round.  The 2008 champions take on bottom of the table Broadford.

Newmarket and Crusheen clash in arguably the tie of the round with Clooney/Quin hosting Inagh/Kilnamona in the final game.
