The Chair of the Clare County Board says he’s hopeful work on a five year strategic plan for Gaelic games here can begin immediately.
Preparations are ongoing to form a five person committee to focus on area such as the completion of the Caherlohan facility, finance and fundraising and coaching and games development.
The proposal has been given unanimous support from clubs throughout Clare as well as the County Board itself.
Chair Jack Chaplin says he wants planning for the future of both codes here to get underway as soon as possible.
