It is expected that there could be changes discussed for the dates to start this year’s championships when clubs gather this evening for the June meeting of Clare GAA.
The current Master Fixtures list has a proposed start date of July 9th for the senior hurling championship, with the football championship due to start the following day.

Should Clare beat Derry in Saturday’s All Ireland football quarter-final, they would face Galway or Armagh on that same weekend, while the second round of club championship is currently set for the same weekend as the All Ireland hurling final.
The posts of assistant secretary and assistant treasurer are also understood to be on the agenda to be filled this evening.
