Change of Fixture For The Banner

The C.C.C have made a decision to switch fixtures for Sundays league double header at Semple Stadium.

The Division 1A Hurling fixture between Clare and Tipperary will now throw in at the earlier time of 1:15, with the football set for 3 o'clock.

It's understood that concerns for the pitch holding two games, mean the Hurling will be played first, while the same decision has been made for the Limerick double header at the Gaelic Grounds.

The Clare footballers enter the game undefeated in their division four campaign with 7 points sitting at the top of the table, with Manager Colm Collins pointing towards Sundays clash as a crucial 2 points, bringing them closer to the 11 he believes they need to gain promotion.

The banner enjoyed victory over 14 man Wicklow on Sunday, and Coolmeen club man Cathal O'Connor admits the dismissal of Leighton Glynn didn't force a change of tactics.
