Chairman of Clare GAA gives his backing to more games being played in revamped Cusack Park

The chairman of Clare GAA has given his backing to more games being played in Cusack Park once the new facility has been completed.

This past week saw delegates give the green light for a €2.3 million revamp of the county grounds, with clubs also pledging to contribute in the region of €60,000 annually to part fund the project.

Works to improve the drainage on the pitch have already gotten underway, and chairman Michael McDonagh says when completed, he hopes to see even more games at the home of Clare GAA
