Clare finished on top of Group 6 with two wins and a draw, and are now into the knockout stages of the national competition once more.

Boss Mick Shiels is looking to follow in the footsteps of his predecessor Liam Murphy, who guided the Banner all the way to last years final, before losing out to the Dublin AUL.

The draw for the next stage will be held in the new year, and Chairman of the Clare and District Soccer League Donie Garrihy says there's been lots of progress.
