Clare man John Hunt’s Cavan side have  been beaten by Fermanagh in the opening round of this years Ulster championship.

The Breffni county went down to their neighbours by a single point,1-09 to 13 points.

Fellow clare man Ciaran Brennan was also playing for the northerners.
