Carrol wins Irish Hockey award

Clare’s Naomi Carrol has been named the Irish hockey association’s  senior club player of the year.

The Cratloe woman who plays for Catholic Institute  and is also involved  camogie and ladies football received the award for her outstanding displays during 2012.

The Clare woman also made an impact at international level having competed in several matches including the U21 euro championship win over Turkey in July.
