Carrig hopeful championship run will give experience to Tones squad

Wolfe Tones boss James Carrig says their run to an All Ireland Semi Final will give huge experience to the squad.

The Clare and Munster intermediate champions were beaten by Kilkenny side Bennetsbridge on a 0-15 to 0-8 scoreline in the last four, bringing an end to their championship season.

They now have senior hurling to look forward to in 2016, and Carrig says they will have taken a lot out of the campaign.

Meanwhile the draws for the Clare U21 Hurling Championships will be made this evening.

They'll get underway in at Clare GAA Headquarters in Clareabbey from 6pm
