Carmody: No Complaints About Limerick Defeat In Munster U21 Hurling Semi Final

Clare U21 hurling manager John Carmody feels Limerick’s greater strength in depth proved crucial in their Munster Semi Final win.

The Banner bowed out of the competition after a 1-28 to 1-15 loss at the Gaelic Grounds as the Shannonsiders marched on to a second final in the last three years.

Billy Connors struck for Clare’s goal in the opening half, but a dominant Limerick display saw them win by 0-13.

Carmody says while his side did get one green flag, they didn’t threaten their opponents goal often enough.

Limerick will host either Cork or Waterford in the final, with those two sides meeting tonight in the other last four tie.

That one starts in Walsh Park at 7.30pm
