Clare camogie manager John Carmody says his side have no fears of facing any opponents in Division 2A of the National Camogie League.

The Banner began life in the intermediate league with a 0-13 to 0-9 victory over Wexford, thanks in part to Aisling Cooney’s second half tally of 0-7.

Up next is a home tie against Tipperary next weekend, where victory would leave Clare in a strong position to challenge for a place in the knockout stages.
