Joint Clare camogie boss John Carmody feels his side could have paid the price for a busy schedule as they lost out to Cork in their All Ireland championship tie.
A fifth game in as many weeks saw Clare beaten by 2-17 to 2-5 in Pairc Ui Rinn, with both Clare goals coming late in the game.
Clare face another outing in quick succession on Saturday next when Wexford come to Sixmilebridge.
