Carmody Confident Clare Are Ready To Hit The Ground Running In National Camogie League

The manager of the Clare camogie squad is confident they are in a positive place ahead of their first outing in this year’s National League.

John Carmody’s side begin their Division 1B campaign at home to Westmeath tomorrow afternoon with the game being played at the Tubber GAA grounds.

There will also be home ties against Limerick and Antrim along with tricky away trips to Wexford and Down, with the top two teams making the league final.

Carmody says having a good lead in to their opening game has helped them to be ready for a busy few weeks ahead.
