Manager Malky Mackay has been sacked by Cardiff after weeks of speculation.
It follows their 3-nil home Premier League loss to Southampton yesterday.
The club’s owner Vincent Tan had reportedly warned Mackay to resign or be sacked.
The club say a new manager will be appointed "in due course".
Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is the bookie’s favourite to replace him at the moment.
