The man who captained Wolfe Tones to Munster Intermediate glory has praised the impact their supporters had during the closing stages of their win over Newcestown.
The Cork side struck for two late goals to ensure a nervy finish before the Tones sealed a 1-18 to 2-13 win in Mallow yesterday afternoon.
It's the first time a club has won both the Munster Senior and Intermediate Club titles, after they captured senior honours in 1996.

They now go on to the All Ireland Semi Final at the end of January where they play the Leinster champions.
