Clare got their Camogie League campaign off to a winning start on Sunday.

The Banner had to travel to Birr to take on home side Offaly in the opener – facing an opposition they haven’t regularly met.

It was Offaly who took an early lead – but goals from Eimear Kelly and Aine O’Loughlin, as well as strong performances from Orlaith Duggan and Captain Laura McMahon swung affairs in Clare’s direction.
