Camogie clubs have voted to implement the split season model for the 2021 campaign.

The results of a ballot taken over the last few days have shown that 53% of clubs voted in favour of the move, which will see the intercounty season played in its entirety before handing over for the club championship.

82% of players polled for a recent survey had indicated their preference for that structure, following moves by the Camogie Association to have the All Ireland series starting later in the Autumn.
