Calls for bigger gap between Leaving Cert and Munster Championship

Joint Clare minor hurling manager Donal  Maloney feels there should be a bigger gap between the end of the Leaving Cert and the Munster championship.

Holders Clare will take on Tipperary in the provincial semi final on June 24th with players on both sides in the middle of exams.

Maloney feels the closeness of the game to the exams provides a tough challenge to both players and management:
