There’s a busy day of action in store in Round 2 of the TUS Clare Senior Football Championship.
First up is the meeting of Doonbeg and Lissycasey in Miltown.
Lissycasey come into the game looking to build on their 15 point defeat of Kilmihil in the opening round, while Kilmihil’s shock victory over Ennistymon last night gives Doonbeg renewed hope they’ll keep their campaign alive.
Clare FM analyst Joe Garry says it’ll be a close fought game.
Throw in in Miltown this evening is at 5pm with commentary on Clare FM with Tubridys Bar and Restaurant Doonbeg.
Meanwhile, the first of a double header of Group 1 games in Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chiosóg gets underway at 5:30pm.
Cratloe will be looking to bounce back from a heavy defeat at the hands of Éire Óg as they face Kildysart who have a point on the board after the opening round of games.
That’ll be followed by a repeat of this year’s Cusack Cup final as Jack Daly holders Éire Óg take on Doora Barefield from 7:30pm.
Elswehere, Clarecastle is the venue for the meeting of Miltown and Wolfe Tones in Group 3, with that one throwing in at 7pm.
