Clare will be without double All Star defender Brendan Bugler for their next two league games after he lost his appeal against the red card picked up in the Banners win over Dublin.
The Whitegate man was dismissed for an attempted kick just before half time, and will miss the clash with Kilkenny on Sunday, along with either the relegation final, or the League Quarter Final.
Clare face the Cats knowing a win, coupled with victory for Galway over Dublin, would see them qualify for the League Quarter Final, where they would face either Waterford or Wexford.
The defending League and All Ireland champions are consigned to the relegation playoff regardless of Sunday's result, but selector Louis Mulqueen says that won't affect how they'll approach the game.
Throw in on Sunday is at 2pm, full live commentary here on Clare FM in association with Matt Waters Clare Fruit and Veg Market and Donie O'Keeffe Champion Meats Turnpike Road Ennis.
