Fionnuala Britton won a bronze medal at the European Indoor Championships in Sweden.
The double European cross country champion finished third in the women’s 3,000 metres in 9 minutes.

It’s Ireland’s second medal of the Championships following Ciaran O’Lionaird’s third place finish in the men’s 3,000 metres last night.
Ciara Everard was sixth in the final of the 800 metres in a time of 2 minutes 2.55 seconds.
Later today Amy Foster is in the semi finals of the 60 metres.
