Rodgers’ club boss Mark McKenna believes the step up to senior club hurling will only be of benefit to his development.

Meanwhile, it’s reported that the GAA has postponed next week’s senior provincial championship draws until March at least.

The Irish Examiner says GAA officials are reluctant to allow the draws to take place while intercounty sides are still not permitted to train collectively.
