Sixmilebridge recorded their second win of this years senior hurling championship to move them within touching distance of the quarter finals.
Tim Crowe’s side produced a powerful second half showing to see off the challenge of Wolfe Tones by 3-19 to 0-13.

The holders led by 0-10 to 0-9 at the break, and despite having Jason Loughnane sent off on a second yellow card, a brace of goals from Alex Morey and one from Brian Corry saw them run out comfortable winners.
Up next for the Bridge is a clash with last year’s intermediate champions Scariff in two weeks time.
