The holders edged out Cooraclare by 1-13 to 1-12 to consign the Sky Blues to a relegation battle.

Miltown sealed their passage to the last eight after seeing off the challenge of Ennistymon by 0-12 to 0-9.
It means the winner of the final round tie between Cratloe and Ennistymon will secure the last remaining quarter final spot from Group One.
