Brennan Hopeful Banner Can Build On Winning Momentum In All Ireland SFC Quarter Final

A former Clare football captain feels the momentum gained by the squad will be a key factor in Saturday’s All Ireland quarter-final clash with Derry.

The Banner come into the game off the back of qualifier wins over Meath and Roscommon, with Ulster champions standing between Clare and a first semi final since 1992.

It is understood management will finalise their team later this evening for Saturday’s game, with Cillian Brennan believed to in contention for starting place after recovering from injury.
