Reports say he broke a bone in his foot while playing for Na Piarsaigh this weekend, and he'll now be out for six weeks.
Nickie Quaid will also be out of the game with a shoulder injury, though Donal O'Grady, Kevin Downes and Seamus Hickey are all expected to be available.
