There are high hopes for more Clare success on the final day of the 2024 Cheltenham Festival.

Newmarket-on-Fergus native Martin Brassil saddles Fast Or Slow in this afternoon’s Gold Cup.

Today’s race will see him renew rivalries once more with Galopin De Champs, with the pair having last met at the Dublin Racing Festival.

Brassil says it is a high quality field lining up for the blue riband event.

That one goes to post at 3.30pm

Tubber’s Derek O’Connor will be hoping to bring up his third winner of this year’s Festival when he takes the ride aboard It’s On The Line in the Hunters Chase at 4.10pm.

Having won the National Hunt Chase earlier this week, he followed that up by steering home I Know The Way You’re Thinking in the Kim Muir Chase last evening for trainer Gavin Cromwell.

O’Connor says while it may have looked an easy ride, it was anything but that.

Today’s action gets underway at 1.30pm
