The new chairman of Bord na Nog Iomaint has called on club officers from across Clare to join the county executive after last night’s reconvened AGM failed to elect a new secretary or treasurer.
Martin Reynolds request came after he was the only newly elected officer at last night’s meeting which saw Rosie Monaghan and Gerry Lynch’s positions on the executive go unfilled.
John Culligan was the only proposed candidate for assistant secretary while outgoing chairman Sean O’Halloran was also proposed as the vice chiarman but told the meeting he would need time to think about rejoining the executive.
