Boost For Cratloe as Conor Ryan Returns To Training

Cratloe have handed an injury boost ahead of their opening round game in the Clare senior hurling championship.

2013 All Ireland winner Conor Ryan is back in training with his club, having recently returned from working in the US.

The man of the match from the drawn All Ireland final against Cork was forced to step back from sport in 2018 after a health issue, but has resumed training with Cratloe in recent weeks.

It is not yet known if he is contention for a starting role this season, with Newmarket first up for the south-east Clare men this Friday evening in Cusack Park
