The two biggest clubs in Clare soccer will face off in this year’s Banner Carpet Clare Cup Final.
Newmarket Celtic set up their shot at 10 consecutive titles with an extra time win over Lifford, as captain Stephen Kelly headed the winner home in a 2-1 victory.
They will face Avenue United in the final, with David Russell’s side eventually seeing off a stern test from Shannon Hibs to run out 3-1 winners.
