The Premier led by a point at the break, 0-10 to 0-09, but at that stage they had already seen forward Tommy Nolan sent off for a straight red card.
Their second half was a nightmare, with two more players (Pa Ryan and Chris McCullagh) sent off, and just two points scored.
Clare on the other hand, were able to romp away with the 14-point win, with their goal coming from an impressive Aaron Shanagher of Wolfe Tones.
The Banner now play Waterford in the last four in June.
