Should Clare win, they will face Dublin the All Ireland quarter finals.
The Banner booked their spot in this morning’s draw with a 2-25 to 2-22 win over Davy Fitzgerald’s Wexford in Thurles, as a late Gary Cooney goal proved to be the crucial score of the game as Clare ended Wexford’s championship run for the third time in the last four seasons.
