It’s National Hurling League Semi final day at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick with All Ireland champions Clare targeting a place in the finals for the first time since 2005.

Davy Fitzgerald confirmed his team selection last night for today’s last four tie against Tipperary, with five changes to the team that beat Laois in the Quarter Final.

Donal Touhy returns between the posts while Jack Browne gets the start at Corner back ahead of Conor Cooney.

Colm Galvin returns from injury to join Pat Donnellan in the middle of the field.

The other two changes are to the full forward line, with and all Cratloe inside line, Podge Collins and Cathal McInerney come into the corner forward positions, with their clubmate Conor McGrath named at full forward.

Tipperary Manager Eamon O'Shea has also made five changes to his selection, welcoming back players like Padraic Maher, Michael Cahill and Patrick Bonnar Maher to his team.

Kilkenny play Galway in the opening semi final. 

Kilkenny boss Brian Cody has made five changes to his side for the game, with Brian Hogan, Michael Fennelly and Henry Shefflin among those starting. 

Joe Canning has been named on the bench for Galway, despite overcoming injury to make a substitute appearance in the quarter final defeat of Limerick.
