There will be no Clare players in action for the Irish senior side in the Ireland v Scotland shinty international at the end of the month.

The squad has been announced for the game, and while 11 counties are represented, no players from the Banner County will line out in the game which takes place at Cusack Park on Saturday October 27th.
The previous night, meanwhile, sees Gurteen play host to an Under-21 international between the sides and two Claremen will be in action here.
Ballyea’s Tony Kelly and Seadna Morey of Sixmilebridge have both been selected in the 18-man Irish panel.
The same weekend also sees a Clare camogie team take on a Scottish selection, marking the official opening of Fr. Michael McNamara Park in Doora.
