Banner Ladies booked thier place in the semi final of the Clare Ladies Senior Football Championship last eveniong when they recorded a 3-19 to 1-9 victory over last years Co. Champions, West Clare Gaels at Kilmihil. Banner led at half time 0-9 to 1-4 Seconh half goals from Mary Tierney and two from Nimah O’Dea ensured a comfortable win.
Earlier last evening at Kilmihil West Clare Gaels captured the U 14 Div. 1 shield title with a 7-9 nto 1-5 victory over Doora Barefield.
