New Clare boss Peter Keane was unable to lead his side to victory in the Banner’s opening division 3 game.
The Banner made the long trip to Corrigan Park in Belfast to open their campaign this afternoon.

The hosts saw themselves 1-4 to no score up after just seven minutes thanks to a two pointer from Conor Hand, with Fionn Nagle finding the back of the net.
Despite a strong second half showing which saw Clare outscore Antrim five points to two it was the hosts who held on for a 1-9 to 1-6 win.
