There was great success for Clare trainers at Galway last night, as Banner Dogs won each of the last five races.
There was a double for Ennisman Noel Moroney, who’s Tiermana club opened the Clare success in the sixth, a 525. His Tiermana Buss then won the ninth, again in a 525.
In between, Carmel’s Touch for Shannon’s Peter Russell and Aulton Ron for Patrick HOgan and Michael Enright both won heats in a Grade A4 525 event while the night was capped off nicely for Clare when Ennisman John Browne saw Rathmeehan Brett beat a strong field to pick up a good win.
There was no Clare success at Limerick last night, so the seven runners there tonight will hoping for better luck. The first is off at 7:45.
