Ballyea will be without three of the team that reached last years All Ireland Club Final when they take to the field for the second round of the Clare Senior Hurling Championship.
The defending Clare and Munster champions are missing Cathal Doohan and Pearse Lillis who are both travelling, while Damian Burke has been ruled out for the season through injury.
2015 champions Sixmilebridge provide the opposition for Fergal Hegarty’s side, with the winners booking their place in the last eight of this years race for the Canon.
