Avenue United keep up pressure on Newmarket with win

In Local soccer news and Avenue United have kept up the pressure on Newmarket Celtic in the premier league with last night’s 2-1 win over Bridge United.

The gap between the top two sides is now down to just 7 points with the Ennis side enjoying two games in hand, and the meeting the league leaders  this Sunday at 11am in ennis.

The other result from the premier last evening saw Bridge Celtic relegate former champions Bunratty with a 3-1 win.
