Avenue United are safely through to the quarter-finals of the Munster Junior Cup.
David Russell’s side recorded a 5-1 win over Limerick side Mungret in Roslevan, with players battling driving wind and rain throughout.

Avenue led 4-0 at the break with a brace for Elias Kunz along with goals from Tomas Hehir and Ronan Kerin.
Mungret did pull one back just after the restart, but Kunz completed his hat-trick moments later to quell any thoughts of a comeback.
