David Russell’s side beat neighbours Ennis Town 4-0 to move within five points of leaders Newmarket Celtic, while also having two games in hand.

Elsewhere, Bridge United moved into the next round of the Clare Cup with a 3-1 win over Bunratty-Cratloe.
