Avenue United’s bid to reach back to back Munster Junior Cup semi-finals continues this weekend.
David Russell’s side narrowly missed out on reaching a first ever decider in last years campaign when they narrowly lost out to St Michael’s.
They can book a spot in the quarter-finals if they can overcome Coachford in Roslevan on Sunday afternoon.
Russell says the players themselves are driving standards within the group.
Bridge United are also in action on Sunday afternoon when they host Dungarvan United, with both games set for 2pm kickoffs
Meanwhile, Frank Healy Park in Doora plays host to a pre-season League of Ireland friendly this evening.
There will be plenty local interest in the fixture as Galway United take on Treaty United
Kickoff is at 7pm with proceeds from the €5 cover charge going toward fundraising for the Clare Youths squad.
