Amalgamation Of LGFA And GAA Now Needed – O Dea

The manager of Clare’s reigning ladies football county champions believes it’s time for the LGFA and GAA to come together as one body.

It follows the controversy over the staging of the Cork – Galway game at Croke Park on Sunday, with the Connacht side having just seven minutes to warm up before their All Ireland semi final.

Calls have been made, including from former GAA President Liam O Neill, to amalgamate the organisations.
