The finishing touches are being put to Ruan and Killanena’s preparations for this Sunday’s county intermediate hurling final in Cusack Park.
Sunday’s encounter sees a unique pairing with Ruan back in the final for the first time in over 30 years while Killanena are seeking their first ever intermediate success.
Ruan manger Pat Meaney told Clare Fm their 2010 run to the final owes a lot to last years disappointment:
Killanena have several county intermediate fianls in the last decade,most recently in 2007, while they have been pipped at the semi fianl stage in the last two years.
The east Clare side’s manger Colman Houlihan told Clare Fm that the idea that they deserve to win oafter several near misses won’t guarantee success on Sunday:
