For Cork, Championship debutant Seamus Harnedy starts at centre-forward  while full-back Brian Murphy will captain the side in the absence of Pa Cronin who ‘s on the bench having recovered from illness.

There’s still no Clare team announced for the game, though it’s understood the starting fifteen which will line out will be broadly in line with that which overcame Waterford last time out.  That means we should see Conor McGrath start after his goal-scoring performance last time out.

There’s a 1:45 throw-in for today’s curtain raiser, the Intermediate Championship clash between Cork and Clare.
