Agonising Finish For Clare’s Aideen Walsh At KPMG Women’s Irish Open

Clare’s Aideen Walsh came agonisingly close to making the cut for the weekends action at the KPMG Irish Women’s Open at Dromoland.

The Ennis woman finished her second round on even par overall, which was just one shot outside the cut mark for the final two days.

Walsh, a primary school teacher, battled to the end, and was unlucky to see her final chip narrowly fail to hole out, which would have seen her through.
