Reading have appointed Nigel Adkins as their new manager.
He’s signed a contract until the summer of 2016 and replaces Brian McDermott, who was sacked two weeks ago.

Adkins has eight matches to try and save the club from Premier League relegation.
They’re currently second from bottom in the table.
He surprisingly lost his job as Southampton manager in January, with the team in good form and having won back to back promotions.
