The round one clash of O'Callaghans Mills and Scariff has been postponed at the request of the Mills as early as last year because of a Wedding.

Broadford and Doora/Barfield takes place on Saturday in Shannon 1pm.

Previewing this game, St Josephs Doora/Barefield Manager John Halpin admits they have a point to prove and will look to re-group after making the drop from Senior A hurling last year.

Halpin has up to five injury conerns heading into the weekend but has brought in the Minor experience of Brian Guilfoyle, Colm Fitzgerald and Eoin Hanrahan to boost his side.

Halpin says he's confident ahead of an interesting group of games.

Broadford Coach Kieran Corcoran says his own side has grown in confidence with 5 wins through the Clare Cup.

They have however lost as many of five of last years starting team through emigration and retirements, with just a third of the team that played senior A 2 years ago.

But Corcoran says the league has allowed them blood new players, and he anticipates a tough task from Doora/Barefield.
