8 hurlers from Wexford win – to line out in Under 21 Semi final tonight

Eight Clare hurlers who featured in the win over Wexford in the qualifier at the weekend, have been named in the Under 21 team to take on Waterford tonight in their Munster semi final.

David McInerney again fills the full back position, with Jack Brown and Paul Flanagan either side of him, and Flanagan at right back captaining the side.

The half back line is made of of Alan O’Neill at centre, with Seadna Morey and Steven O’Halloran on the wings, Ronan Taffe of Tubber is in goals.

Colm Galvin and Tony Kelly form the midfield partnership.

Padraic Collins lines out at centre forward, with Peter Duggan on the left wing.

Injury concern Aaron Cunningham has been named at 10.

Daragh Keane will start at full forward, and completing the starting fifteen are Cathal O’Connell and Shane O’Donnell as corner forwards.

Clare Joint Manager Gerry O’Connor is expecting a tough game against the Deise side.
