In local hurling news and Cratloe Sixmilebridge and Clonlara have joined Crusheen in the county senior hurling championship Q-finals following the weekend’s action.
The Bridge beat O callaghan’s mills by 1-14 to 0-08 on Sunday in Cusack park while Clonlara beat Smith O brien’s by 2-25 to 0-14 to seal their place in the knock out stages.
In group two Scariff caused a shock with a one point win over Tubber in Gurteen while Cratloe edged Inagh kilnamona in tense affair in Cusack park by 8 points to 7.
